All Otter Lake residents invited to participate in Private Drinking Water online survey.
Otter Lake is included in a study of residents who source water from the lake or private wells. This study is being done by the Mississippi-Rideau Source Protection Region under Ontario’s Clean Water Act. Municipal/community water supplies have been the focus and private water sources have been mostly overlooked. One concern that has prompted this study is the overly long time to get test results when blue green algae blooms are suspected.
